Emmett Louis Till was an african american teenager who was lynched in Mississippi a the age of 14 he died after reportedly flirting with a white woman. He was born July 25th 1941 in Chicago IL. He died August 27th 1955 in Money MS. Him and his family grew up in a middle class neighborhood on Chicago's southside. Till's murder was one of the most brutal and inhuman crimes of the 20th century. He attended the school MCcosh Grammer School.

emmett went by the nickname by boo. he grew up in a middle class neiborhood in chicgo. at a very young age till took responsibilites t a very young age and took care of his self when his mother wasnt there to do it. He had "house responsibiles " as the word his mother would use.
